My Lovely Little Boy

He is just 3 1/2 now and has finally decided his little sister is OK. He has struggled a bit with speech but we see dramatic improvements since our visit in October.  

He has the tremendous ability to sit and study and concentrate on things and of course, his memory is extraordinary as it is when one is only 3.  He can point out on a map and name each of the States, but he does it in alphabetical order.  If you give him a map, he can find any country in Africa and is starting to learn the capitals of everywhere!  We were floored when he mentioned Papua, New Guinea (with perfect speech) and pointed it out on a map.  He is a happy little guy.  He goes to Preschool three days a week, and whenever there is a hockey game in the afternoon, he goes with is father.  (See extra)

Even with a little breakfast still on his face, he poses very nicely for photos. 

We have had a great trip.  We saw 3 hockey games (and they won them all).  We had some time away by ourselves, got lots of time with the grandkids, saw some great scenary, got lots of exercise...but oh I will be so happy to get home. 

Flight home late in the day was completely uneventful.  Fell into my own bed with great pleasure at about 2:30 a.m.
