The Ballard Of Easy Rider

We waited behind this chap on his vespa.  He looked little in the landscape.  The drive down was uneventful and I think there are more camper vans on the roads.  Tourists might be having late summer holidays.  
It was strange calling into my sisters place and not going into her old villa.  Instead we visited with my nephew and his wife in the farm shop.  Pick your own tomatoes are the crop of the moment.  People are flocking out to pick.  They are doing three times the volume of business.  Someone had said to him that people are more panicked into buying things after events like earthquakes or Covid shutdowns.  Our recent cyclones are going to mean shortages of fruit and vegetables and increased prices.  Perhaps people want to make their own sauces now.  It's a theory.
