Grasshopper Sparrow (Ammodramus savannarum)

Today went with the birding group to find sparrows and other grassland birds. The main one I wanted to see was this grasshopper sparrow. I always thought it was a bird I would never see but, like so many other things it is just about knowing... It is so named because of it's song which sounds like a grasshopper, sort of.
