Not what you want to see...

Backblip Wednesday: First we had the water company doing exploratory work in the road and then they smelled gas. These guys came out pretty quickly and had to make changes to the main and our pipes to repair the leak. 
Unfortunately it meant our gas being switched off at 5pm. Luckily we have an electric oven, a wood burner, a couple of blow heaters and an electric heated towel rail in the bathroom. For the first time ever I used the immersion heater and we still had hot water for a bath last night. Hoping to get the gas back on within 24 hours. The guys have been very good at working through in horrid sleet, keeping us informed and minimising the size of the trench in our (resin) drive. They have also assured us the resin will be matched when the hole is filled.
