Flying
A quick backblip ... we had lunch at the Indian restaurant on the seafront, where we haven't been for a year, and this was the scene when we came out. It must be the best value menu del día in Almuñecar -- only 13 euros each, and just the right amount of food. Drinks are extra but it still only cost about 30 euros.
Intercambio in the evening -- not many people had turned up, so we just gathered round two tables and chatted. We were introduced to N, a young Mexican who recently moved here from Berlin. She said she had to leave Germany because the weather was so depressing it was making her ill. She's pleased to have found a job, albeit only in a car rental agency. They're lucky to have found someone bright who speaks English, German, Spanish and a bit of French. So we talked mostly in Spanish and French to give her some French practice.
