Travel plans postponed

Although there was only a light dusting of snow when we got up, phone calls to the dealership and the caravan site owner confirmed that bad weather was en route to them. That made it an easy decision to postpone until Monday. Having seen the weather reports and reading about road closures over the Pennines (as we were planning to go M74/A66/A1) I think we made the right decision.

Probably as well we stayed home as my back has been playing up again so a lot of sitting with a hot water bottle against it has been the order of the day. Mr PHL took Phin off to Springfield Mill before lunch which coupled with his running about at daycare yesterday meant he slept all afternoon. The snoring was a nice backdrop to my crocheting.

I managed to take Phin out for a 30 minute walk before dinner and boy was it chilly. No further snow yet but ut bay come overnight.
