Anniversary

It was a little bit frustrating to hear this morning that the garden centre was open but that the retail cabins had been asked to stay closed. Having watched the snow fall continuously this morning I was pretty glad that I hadn’t tried to get into work. I have plenty to keep me busy at home so it wasn’t a wasted day.
Today is our 11th wedding anniversary (but we’ve been together over 30 years). We had a meal out at a local pub, the roads are starting to flood so tomorrow may be another day at home. Highlight of the meal was the brioche bread and butter pudding with chocolate chunks, custard and toffee sauce.
