Baltimore Bling

I eased out of work mode for Friday afternoon and hit the road again. I called in Marylands wonderful barrier islands to see the wild horses (hoping for good bliping but they were just hanging out by the road looking like mangy horses rather than running on the beach in the wind) and then crossed the amazing bridges spanning the Chesapeake Bay. Stunning.
I decided to head into Baltimore for something to eat. With the TV show the Wire it has a less than fancy reputation and driving around some of the rougher areas of the city, you can see a lot of boarded up places. The inner harbour however is very corporate and blingy and shows a massive contrast between the rich and poor of the place. I headed to some of the very well recommended craft brew places and enjoyed something less corporate than pictured. Very nice it was too.
