Our Lady of Paraparaumu

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Caro got her Yaris back today! She was very happy, she loves her little car.

As a result we went on a celebration "tootle" today. She drove us around the town, we did some chores and I took this picture of the statue of the Virgin Mary which stands on top of a hill near our house.

I believe it is because this town was founded by Catholics, back in the day. I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I always thinks she looks like a bit of a salt shaker on the hill there. Or a Terry Gilliam cartoon.
