Spring awakening

It hasn't been in the least springlike this week with occasional snow showers and an ambient temperature in the house of 15C.
None the less, son's family cat Nuzzy, now resident here,  has decided that after several months of a cloistered upstairs lifestyle, the time has come to venture further afield. He has visited unexplored areas of the house, exchanged glares with the indigenous felines, and even made a few forays into the outside world. As an urban cat he is a little spooked by the sounds of farm animals and birds, tractors and the wind in the trees. But progress has been made and as the weather improves the  world may be his oyster. [Do cats like oysters?] It remains to be seen.
