On the run

Today was a special day and a lovely post on Facebook from my daughter which is here if you want to see.
I celebrated first by opening cards and presents and then avoiding falling in the holes around the back door when I went to hang out the washing.
Next was a run of 70mins (the miles ot ks too far!) which was partly an obstacle course but was in glorious sunshine - and very cold (extra for some more pics). The swans were busy bathing in the bit of pond that wasn't frozen.
Then out for lunch with said daughter (and ate too much as the portions were bigger than expected even though it was "only" soup and a roll).
She came back for a cuppa and then went to collect a lady from her church from the hospital, where her husband had had a op, to take back home and as she went son and family arrived for a brief visit with presents.
Next was more eating at the Thai restaurant in town, a bit earlier than we'd wanted but still a lovely meal.
A good day all round and more celebrations tomorrow.
