We spent lunchtime in the garden. The sun was shining and it was too lovely to be stuck inside working. We got a bit carried away and it felt almost impossible to go back to my laptop after feeling the soil.

Carina continued for a while after I got back to work. She cleared the gutters and sorted out the overgrown compost pile.

Just as we finished weeding (do you ever finish weeding?), Andrew from the bakehouse knocked on the door to drop off some fresh bread and pastries. It was nice to see him so soon after last night and I just love that he turned up at the door unannounced.
