Hillcrest heads

I started the day with the intention of working at my laptop but realised that I’m waiting on people getting back to me. So I designed a logo for Hillcrest and worked away from my laptop instead.

L and I did some lunchtime gardening. The police lady’s dogs came to say hi as we were eating.

Andrew surprised us with bakehouse bread and pastries and we both couldn’t stop smiling.

I had a fight with the raspberry bush and cleared their spiky branches from the compost bins so have won for now.

We went down to the car to get somethings and the nice woman, Annie, from the house down their chatted with us and commiserated the fate of Monty (the monstera) then a lady with a big scowl told us off for parking there. I suppose the kindness had to balance out.

Then we had a negroni (well americano) bath and burgers.

I’m very glad it’s Friday and we’re here.
