My old school

in Rotherham, an industrial town in south Yorkshire UK. I am up here for the annual dinner of the Rotherham Grammar School Old Boys' Association. The snow falls put paid to that - the organisers cancelled the dinner this morning after those who had travelled long distances had arrived. A bit galling really - let's hope a fresh date is identified in due course. Three of us held our own dinner to salvage something of the evening.
