Pugwash!

This is Pugwash, my favourite animal at Sewerby Hall Zoo. Around feeding time he takes to standing up on the wall of his pen and it's always amusing to see how many people he manages to scare when he suddenly appears at the side of them. He's as tall as an adult when he stands up!

He's so ugly but there's something really endearing about him and he has such a great character. A trip to Sewerby Hall is never a waste, there is always so much to photograph and timing a visit to the zoo at around 3pm is always best as that's feeding time.
