Sorting

Another stunningly beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky, although very chilly. I should have been out in the hills or on the beach but a combination of waiting for a delivery and having a couple of booked calls/meetings meant I spent most of the day inside. Strangely, didn’t feel too bad about it though, probably as I’ve plans to be out tomorrow.
Cleared up the kitchen table (still covered with a family tree constructed with post it notes) and constructed a carefully worded email following a chat with J, decanted last week’s birthday bouquet into two smaller arrangements and did laundry.
Had a long conversation with carers’ manager to review P’s care, hopefully which was constructive, then once my delivery arrived I built the new storage unit to finish off setting up my study (extra). Later, out for a cup of tea with CS, chatting about his plans and how things are going for him. Back home for a phone chat to T (who’s now better from his illness having just slept through it for a couple of days) then some more diplomatic emails and an early supper before out to meet NM for a drink. We met at Nor’Loft so had a lovely view over the city at night and ended up staying nearly 3 hours chatting about her work and plans, family, ‘creative journalling’ (never heard of that before), toxic work cultures, music making etc etc.
We walked back up the hill together and decided to meet again before too long.
