Rude awakening

7:30am this saturday morning the hi vis vest wearing builders turned up unannounced and started the process of filling the small trench in our drive following the replaced gas pipe. Rather than tarmac, they used concrete which will take 24 hours to go off - hopefully! We have no idea if the work is good until the resin layer is completed next week. A noisy and early start to the weekend.
