Without checking back, I  kinda suspect I mentioned a Car problem of late.  I discovered that the wee Lake in the passenger foot-well was NOT as a result of my leaving a Window ajar.  The screen seal has "gone". 

Response - Stop any ingress of the wet until I find a firm which is BOTH nearer than Kent AND willing to re-seal without replacing the screen.

A possible third option might be a DiY job.  Can't remember if I mentioned that removal of one fuse which, they said, I'd never miss cured whatever the fault was.

As, currently, I'm not all that mobile anyway I may as well wrap it up "templemary" between uses?
