Station
First thing, MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr sorted CyclopsJnr's Pokemon cards into elements and removed duplicates for trading.
Then MrsCyclops, CyclopsJnr and cyclops went to the grand opening of Granton Station Square - until the 1940s Granton Station and more recently a disused building, but now a community centre and part of the wider regeneration of Granton.
It was a nice event, we got to see inside the building which was beautifully done and a careful melding of original and contemporary. They had a few stalls and some local groups performing. CyclopsJnr had his portrait sketched by an artist, was given a promo keyring with a tape measure inside, and enjoyed some artifacts from the National Museum of Scotland who have their Collections Centre in Granton. Excitingly this included an ancient Egyptian amulet which CyclopsJnr was allowed to hold. Also some fossils and a sword.
And the Play Rangers were there! Hurray! With basketballs amongst other fun things.
Home for lunch, then CyclopsJnr called for his friends but neither was in.
So instead MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr and cyclops went swimming at the Village Hotel.
