‘Another Fine Morning’

Another fine morning this morning - a bit chilly with the temperature hovering around freezing, but bright sunshine and no wind. 

Ideal weather, in fact, for this morning’s parkrun.

Today we had just over 400 people join us here on the prom at Cramond, with over 50 for the first time.

For these ‘first timers’ the event director (it was Gerald today) puts on a special briefing before the start, the subject of today's blip. This covers details of the course, where to get your barcode scanned to get your time at the finish, and - most importantly - where you can then get coffee and cakes!
