We had a little snowstorm. It could have been more, maybe wanted to be more, but it fizzled just a bit. They were saying three to five inches. We might have gotten two.

I walked across the street and up to my first two ponds in the Barrens. This is the first one, my favorite. The snow was falling softly as I stood there. Stop now, and listen. Do you hear the whisper of snow on quiet waters?
