Pebble Prominent (Notodonta ziczac)

Very warm and mild overnight and it was very misty until about 11 am this morning. Just a half day outdoors working today and then i spent the afternoon planning a trip i'm doing later in the year - trying to work out the complexities of getting from one place to another with all the connections in-between, all at the minimum possible cost.

This lovely moth is a Pebble Prominent - Notodonta ziczac and is a common moth here at this time of year, the caterpillar feeds on sallow of which there is quite a bit here.
