Fig

Our wee fig tree has been bursting out in leaves. It’s not much more than a twig really and it’s temperamental. Doesn’t take kindly to extremes of temperature, or over or underwatering and really doesn’t like to be moved. We’ve thought it dead at least 4 times but it keeps coming back and gets a little bigger every year. It even produced a couple of figs the year before last. The most delicious figs I’ve ever tasted.

It looked like it had had it a couple of months ago but yet again has resurrected and leaves are appearing at an amazing speed. I swear it grows every time I turn my back. And excitingly it has at least one fruit bud on it…
