Uncharted Waters

Today my sister sent me this photo of a boat in the Ciénaga Grande, in Magdalena, Colombia, where conditions of bravery and poverty are extreme.
It represents a bit of what I’m feeling now after testing positive to Covid. I’ve been feverish all day, and not wanting to move or do much. Life is constantly throwing challenges at us, and we somehow navigate the uncharted waters.
I hope I won’t get very sick, but so far I feel a little weird, with a bit of a headache, and high fluctuating temperature. I just took two Advils and are hoping for a restful night.
