The Marigold and the Ant

Nature is so clever. This marigold is beautiful and I noticed it had a visitor. Probably unwanted. 

A lot of today was doing another coat of stripping the colour off my coffee table. The table part is finished (extra) … just waiting to be stained. I unlodged the insert that is clearly missing in the extra and I hope to have that fully done tomorrow. I plan a light stain … I think.

A storm is expected tonight. It is what normally happens after a number of intense hot days. Molly is terrified of thunder so I hope the storm will be kind and pass quickly. No need to water the gardens. Yeah!

Dinner, shower and a bit of TV tonight.
