Monday

This is Whisky nice and calm before we give him his thyroid tablets, he hates them. He can keep one in his mouth for 10 minutes and then spit it out when we're not looking!!! We've had to resort to giving him treats straight after the tablets so that we know they've gone down. I've spoken to the vets about it and she said that there is a new food on the market that takes the place of the tablets, so we're going to try that instead. Fingers crossed he will like the food.

An architect came round this afternoon to discuss our plans for an extension so that he can draw up the new plans (we have old plans but have decided on a bigger extension now). He had some great ideas and has even suggested a way to gain another bedroom that we hadn't thought of. I'm dreading the idea of building work, but it's extend or move to a bigger house, extending seems like the lesser evil at the moment.
