Green shoots in the greenhouse
Yesterday I (very delicately) pricked out the 5 Eryngium seedlings I had in a single pot. They're thin little things with long roots so my feeling is it's best not to disturb their growth again now they're in individual pots.
As for the beds, it's nice to see the green shoots have got bigger - I can't remember everything I've sown (can't read the labels, the ink has been washed off by all the waterings - it happens every year and I never learn...) but I can see there's parsley (2 types), mixed lettuce leaves, beetroot, radish, spinach and carrot. The carrot seeds took no time germinating.
It's my first time sowing directly in greenhouse beds at this time of year and I'm glad I did, it's such a nice controlled environment when it's still wet and cold that it means nearly-guaranteed success.
