From A Distance
My neck is in a wringer, my nose is sunburned and my eyes are blinded by sunspots.
However, I am happy to try and get some shots of these fabulous Mississippi Kites who grace my backyard arena every Spring through late summer. Problem is they are always so high up and too far away to get a proper close up. I have to crop a little, though this one shows the distance pretty much. Here is a close crop but I like the beak detail.
I'm supposed to be preparing for a rehearsal, but can't quit running outside when I hear their whistle or excited cry.
