… the exhibition on Giovanni Bellini at the Jacquemart-Andre Museum in Paris. Bellini lived in Venice from ca. 1430 to 1516, and was the city’s leading artist much of that time. We know him well from our eight stays there, and it was a delight to visit this show, relatively small though it was (it’s on until July 17th—don’t miss it if you can get there).
