Met up with The Oak today. The day hike we walked didn’t go quite as investigative as we had hoped, given that the section on the tuther side of this stile was no longer walkable. We did toy with the idea of pretending not to notice the sign but, all things considered, that’s not really right now is it. We still had a nice walk, and managed to find another bit of public footpath to connect two other sections meaning next time we head out for a two-day hike we can connect those dots on the map nicely and avoid a chunk of road that has been grinding us down on previous outings.
