Snow in the magical magnolia grove
This thicket of pink blossoms and snow sparkles was a treat to walk through at dusk. I drove Isabelle back to school after a late lunch. It had snowed here, lovely fluffy flakes that didn't stick, and on my way across the yard I stopped to pick a weed from between the blueberry bushes. Half an hour later I realized I'd gotten pretty wet! but had pulled enough weeds to fill a bucket. The drive down to Charlottesville was fun, and we realized more snow had fallen farther south. I drove, and we took turns picking songs for I. to play over youtube. Started missing her as soon as we got to campus. Next week is Daniel's turn for spring break.
