Golden daffodils
Blowing in the wind, even along the comparative shelter of the Water of Leith path. Lots of them, very welcome.
Out in the early afternoon to walk to Inverleith to check on the bird life. Found the usual suspects; three swans, mallard in nice breeding plumage, black headed gulls, tufted ducks all gathered looking for food. Through Stockbridge to the market, for venison, vegetables, and a piece of simnel cake, since it's the season.
