Luca at the end of the afternoon

We had our usual Monday together, and Luca was on top form. So although the weather was too wet and blustery to tempt us outdoors, there was plenty of indoor running around.
Hide and seek; fun with paper aeroplanes, launched from the top of the stairs; many variations on L's personal favourite game, driving the toy wooden car while I follow on the wobbly wooden bus (possibly one way to keep grandparental joints mobile? Or an accelerated route to a hip replacement?)
We also had some lovely musical interludes, listening to songs and mucking about on the keyboard.
So by the time we were in the car on the way back to Ruth and Josh's, sleep came quickly. Fortunately it wasn't difficult to rouse him at the other end.
