Promises

Nine days ago these emerging daffodils got buried in 15” of snow. A March sun has revealed them once more but it won’t last long, I’m afraid. They’ll soon be buried by another storm tomorrow and Wednesday, but the good news is they’ll survive, and thrive and chase winter away for good; each pop of green brings a promise of a flower • Not only does Spring arrive in exactly one week, so does MrsP’s birthday! Preparations for the big day are underway :) • I printed off brackets for the Women’s and Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournaments, also known as March Madness. I’ll need to pick my teams before Thursday when the First Round begins. The Finals will be April 2nd and 3rd • St. Patrick’s Day arrives Friday! • There’s so much to look forward to in March…Snow? What snow?!? • Peace & Love & Basketball!
