Two pairs of Stock Doves regularly come into the garden to pick up seeds discarded by the smaller birds from the feeders.   Such an underrated bird and on the Amber list apparently, I think the iridescent green on their necks is beautiful, and they are much more elegant than their cousins the Wood Pigeon.
We did our walk in 50+ mph winds which have been with us since the early hours but sounds like they are abating.     Luckily they've been accompanied by sunshine, which was more than welcome.
