Shrewsbury 10k

Today, we headed into town early to watch Kieran run his first 10k race. The weather was perfect and almost unbelievable following the snow of the last few days. He had a great race and was really pleased with his placing and time.  He was absolutely buzzing at the end of it and I'm sure it was the first of many for him. We're incredibly proud of Kieran, especially the way he manages the diabetes that he was diagnosed with last year. 
After the race, I did some gardening: weeding and summer bulb planting and then cooked a beef lunch for us, Kieran, Dan and Dad. In the afternoon, Kieran headed back to uni and I did some school work.
