A dismal day.

The rain never seemed that heavy yet our burn has burst its banks. The fire brigade were called out to pump out a flood that closed the road down to the village. 

I expect the council will announce a hosepipe ban in a couple of weeks.

Happy Mondays. Hey, that would be a great name for a popular beat combo. Oh wait, you're probably reading this on Tuesday. Happy Tuesdays just isn't right. Not that Tuesdays can't be happy. Maybe I'm overthinking this.
