Ballacullish Slate

Went to the Geology Society Meeting this evening and the talk was by an enthusiastic young lecturer about some of the work he had done on fossils during a boat trip to the Arctic region. It sounded really interesting - but not all that information about the fossils … he had obviously had a very enjoyable holiday!! At these local meetings members are encouraged to bring interesting specimens they had found, and this was in that display!
