Too cool for school

Ayda loves her sunglasses and reading but I'm not sure the two are compatible. And yes, I know that's an empty notebook but she will make up her own story, this one about dragons - pretty good for a 2 year old.

I've grown to like (some) opera music in recent years so actually took the plunge and went to the opera last night. I didn't fall asleep so that was a result but I think I'll just stick to listening to the best of on a CD. Glad I went though, it's an itch I've been wanting to scratch for some time.

It was à Ukrainian opera company and at the end of the performance they held up the Ukrainian flag and sang the national anthem. Very moving.
