Back to the hide

If you follow my journal, you'll already know that we've been hunting for otters over the past few days. We finally had some success last night: we spotted a dog otter out for a splash in Loch Sunart just yards from our bedroom window. Tonight we went back to the hide, but have nothing else to report other than sightings of a few seals and a couple of herons.

Earlier today Mr hazelh and I cycled the track along the southern side of Loch Shiel from east to west and back again, stopping off at the Glenfinnan Monument for an enjoyable dose of Bonnie Prince Charlie.
