Meanwhile in New Zealand ...

... Will has departed, managing a last swim at the gorgeous beach near Nelson airport. We heard from him on WhatsApp how is that even possible as we were eating our porridge and he was enjoying pasta over Tonga!  He's now in the middle of nowhere over the Pacific heading for Vancouver - isn't it amazing how you can track a flight? And even more astounding how many aircraft are in the air, especially over America. And this is even more difficult to get your head around - he arrives in Vancouver 40 minutes before he left Auckland! 
Esme and Joe meanwhile enjoyed a field full of sunflowers and turnips. Just look at that, how lovely.
