Exaggeration on the Bull Wall
A lazy, unproductive day meant it was after 7:00 pm by the time I took the camera out for a blip jaunt. The Bull Wall beckoned, and I took a notion on the way there to play with some of the settings on the X20. This shows the result of the Landscape settings in the Sp options. The light was failing fast by the time I took this, but the camera not only compensated for that but added its own exaggeration of the slime on the steps at this bathing shelter to come up with this surprising look. This is straight OOC (which I recently learned - from a review of the X20 - means Out Of Camera).
There's a small gallery over on Zenfolio. Numbers 5 and 6 of those illustrate the camera's built-in colour isolation setting, which might just feature on Blipfoto some time.
I really should have cut the grass. It's sprung up with extraordinary ferocity in a very short time, and rather desperately needs attention before it swallows up the house. Maybe tomorrow. It needs to be soon, because the beginning of work on the next issue of the quarterly magazine is fast approaching.
