Port Davey

At sunrise this morning, after a rough night in the Roaring Forties (we are at 43 degrees south latitude), our small cruise ship entered the protected waters of Port Davey and Bathurst Harbour. This is a very remote part of Tasmania. There is no settlement, apart from a couple of seasonal National Park rangers. We’ll be here for two days.
