Race day...

Es and I ran in the Stirling Race for Life this morning. My third time of taking part and first for Es. As always it was a great atmosphere and lots of pink to be seen.

They have changed the route since I last took part, it is better now you stay closer to the Loch...which is a pleasant run and one I complete regularly.

Es enjoyed her first experience of taking part. I only decided to participate 10 days ago as I was going to be at the event anyway with Es. In a week we raised almost £300 thanks to generous friends and family. We are just a wee bit shy as you can see here

After our exertions in the morning...I lay about like a sloth for the rest of the day. I haven't spent any length of time in the house in over a fortnight. Long days at work and some working weekends...took the afternoon to chill, read my book and be with my family:-)
