Snowy
Our son and I were on a drive back up to Edinburgh for a meeting, some domestic tasks and other commitments. The trip started well. As we climbed the M6 northwards, however, we entered some really snowy weather: more so than expected. The “fast” lane became white and unused. Visibility and overall speed dropped. And fog lights went on.
It then cleared before we again entered dark clouds of snow depositing on the M74.
Yet, as we drive past Biggar the sun came out, the fields were green and the snow was just a dusting on the peaks. The main photo.
In Edinburgh it was cool but the sun was shining out of a blue sky! I’m heading back to Lancaster tomorrow- but this time by train!
