Crepuscular Rays

This presented itself at 7.50 this morning.....possibly one of the best display of rays I've seen from my door in some time.

An old and special friend (through photography mainly) was coming for lunch today,  he rang around 12.30 to say he had been in an accident, someone had run into him as he was turning off the main road to drive to us.  He wasn't injured but shaken up, the police were called and sensibly decided to take him to Emergency to get checked out, his car was undrivable.  The driver of the other car was OK but both cars badly damaged.   I offered to come in for support, but he said his wife who was at work was there.  Poor chap, I'll ring them tomorrow to check.
