Red-eyed Vireo

We didn't go out this morning--it was a bit wet. But returning from a doctor's appointment late this afternoon, I stopped briefly at the base of Mt.Holyoke

This red-eyed vireo was quite high, thus far from ideal. But it continues my string of bird blips. I've just backdated a vireo from May 2009 in Maine that is much better--especially the red eye.
