Wintry weather

Lots of hail today and I got  caught in it a couple of times. Some biggish hailstones, the size of peas or a bit bigger. We also had some snow.
Brrrr.
I parked on Ravenhead Retail Park to go to M&S & Boots and because it had brightened up I decided to leave my car there and walk over to Tesco for a bit of exercise. While in Tesco it bounced down with hail and when I came out it was starting again. It was crazy - the hail was going sideways at times due to the wind so even under the shelter it was pelting us!
Eventually it stopped and I ventured out to get back to my car. It did do some more on the way over but not as bad as earlier.
