Lifts the spirit

After the horrible weather on Monday, today was mainly gloriously bright, especially first thing in the morning when I walked in to deliver a class. Teaching seemed to go well, and is my last classroom contact of the year, although I have to deliver something online on Thursday. Otherwise, I saw various other students and colleagues, and made some progress on a variety of fronts.

At the end of the day, over to a lecture, where I introduced the lecture, but not the lecturer. A bit complicated. Then dinner, where I met some interesting people and developed a good contact. I was lucky to stumble out of Hill Place straight onto a 14. Home in a timely manner and straight to bed.
