After and Before

Pottery this morning - after a short outing with Meg, trying but failing to beat the forecast rain.  Things of mine at all stages of production at the moment .... which is how I like it!   Pictured are a finished plant pot holder and the current state of the dome that featured recently, which was today's handiwork.  I also have a piece waiting to be bisque fired and another that has been through that and awaits glazing, which I hope to start on tomorrow evening.

Another afternoon at home, evening too.  Mostly spent quietly, some spare kohleria and achimenes planted up, a batch of ginger marmalade made and a few summer flower and veg seeds planted.   I watched some of the coverage of the Cheltenham Festival racing, a throwback to what seems another life now.
